Overview

ZVAA has been serving boys and girls ages 4-18 in the Northeastern School District and surrounding areas since 1951. We offer quality programs through Little League Baseball and South Central Pennsylvania Softball.

Many of our coaches are Red Cross certified in First Aid, CPR and AED usage.  They use a growth mindset technique for bringing out the best in our players.  Each year, our coaches attend a Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) seminar and bring the skills that they learned to the field.

Coaches and parent volunteers who work directly with our players must pass the state required background checks.

All players, parents and coaches are required to sign and abide by our Code of Conduct.

We are a 100% volunteer led organization. Parent involvement is mandatory, but limited when we all work together.

Mission Statement and Objectives

Zions View Athletic Association Mission Statement

Zions View Athletic Association encourages youth development by providing opportunities for personal and athletic growth. ZVAA promotes sportsmanship, self-esteem, and the development of life skills through engaging youth in sports while providing a safe, healthy, positive environment where the youth of our community can learn the fundamentals of baseball and softball.

Zions View Athletic Association Objectives

1) To provide safe, enjoyable, healthy recreation for young people.
2) To instill a Growth Mindset Culture in ZVAA youth and families. A Growth Mindset is to believe that our most basic abilities can be developed through dedication and hard work -- brains and talent are just the starting point.
3) To establish and maintain an organization/administration independent of individual people and/or personalities; working to benefit the greater good of the organization.
4) To recruit, foster, and provide volunteer opportunities within our organization and our community.
5) To connect with and support local charitable organizations in our community.
