Northeastern Little League serves boys and girls ages 4-18 in the Northeastern School District. We offer quality programs through Little League Baseball.  We are a 100% volunteer led organization.

Northeastern Little League encourages youth development by providing opportunities for personal and athletic growth. NELL promotes sportsmanship, self-esteem, and the development of life skills through engaging youth in sports while providing a safe, healthy, positive environment where the youth of our community can learn the fundamentals of baseball.








2024 Spring Baseball Season

2024 Spring Baseball 


Registration for the 2024 Spring Baseball season will be open from November 1, 2023 to February 3, 2024.   Registration will be based on the Little League Age of your player, so we have included an Age Chart for your reference.    2024-baseball-age-chart.

We are planning to hold assessments in January. Details pertaining to Assessment dates and times will be sent closer to the new year so please be on the look for those emails.  Assessments will be mandatory so that each player can be evaluated and placed at the proper playing level.




T-Ball *Age 4-7

Tee Ball is the entry level division for players, ages 4-7. The experience is grounded in fun, fitness, and fundamentals while also being a key to growing a child’s love for the game. Each Little Leaguer is required to play one season of Tee Ball before being eligible to be evaluated by the local league officials for consideration to advance to a higher division of Little League baseball or softball. The Tee Ball Division is co-ed.The roster size for a Tee Ball team averages 7-10 players, with a season featuring 1-2 practices per week with a single game played on weekends.

Minors Single A *Age 6-8
Minors Single A League age 6,7,8 (NO 9 year old’s) Combination of 100% Coach Pitch innings & Hybrid Player-Coach Pitch innings  GOAL: Developmental division designed to teach players the fundamental skills of the game along with development of an understanding of the rules and strategies of the game. This division emphasizes the development of pitching and catching while maintaining a reasonable game pace.

Minors Double AA *League Ages 7,8,9,10
100% Player Pitch with Full minor division LL rules (except no stealing home) Ages: Ages 7,8,9 ,10(NO 11’s or 12’s eligible). GOAL: Developmental division that continues to build on the fundamentals of fielding, hitting and throwing while incorporating 100% player pitching and increased level of competition. Player should have a basic understanding of situational baseball, have already completed a hybrid level of baseball developmental season and is able to make adequate throws, catches and ability to make contact with baseball.

Minors Triple AAA: *League Ages 8,9,10,11
100% Player Pitch with Full minor division LL rules Ages: League age 8,9,10,11yrs • GOAL: Developmental division that continues to build on the fundamentals of fielding, hitting and throwing while incorporating 100% player pitching and increased level of competition. Stealing and more advanced base-running strategies are expanded. Player should have understanding of situational baseball, can catch and throw above average for age and an average to above average hitting ability.

Majors: *League age 9,10,11,12 
100% Player Pitch with Full Major division LL rules Competitive Little League Baseball Division. Ages: League Age 9,10,11,12. The diamond used is a 60-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 46 feet. Player should have an understanding of situational baseball, can catch and throw above average for age, and have an above average hitting ability.


Intermediate (50/70): *Age League age 11,12,13
The Intermediate (50/70) Baseball Division was introduced for 12- and 13-year-olds which utilizes a 50-foot pitching distance and 70-foot base paths. Age: League Age 11,12,13

Juniors: League (60/90) *Age: 12,13,14
The Junior League Baseball Division is a program for boys and girls ages 12-14 , using a conventional 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches. Modified diamond dimensions may be used during the regular season.
